2022 Nissan Frontier
Irks me that people here are complaining about short comings from their lack of research BEFORE purchasing. Educate yourself and KNOW exactly what you're buying. Nitpicking the truck apart because you made a bad buying decision is not helpful to potential buyers.
I traded my 2003 Toyota Tundra with 220K miles in on a 2022 Frontier SV LWB (long wheel base). Love the new truck. Faultless … drivetrain, smooth, quiet, and well-built. This is a traditional working-man's truck...not a $100K luxury SUV. If your expectations are realistic for the Frontier, it's a fantastic vehicle.
I'm a diehard Toyota owner but chose the Nissan over the Tacoma. Frontier had a monumentally better drivetrain and a much better driving position. Both important for the cross country towing I do each summer. Highway ride is quiet, comfortable, and composed. Nissan Zero Gravity seats are very comfortable and supportive. Only con is a wider turning radius due to the extended wheelbase, but I knew that going in,
No regrets at all with this purchase. I spent months researching and test driving and bought the vehicle that met my needs.
