2005 Pontiac Bonneville
I bought a Bonneville in an honor of my grandmother. She loved Bonnevilles, and I decided to get the GXP. I know Northstars have head bolt problems, there’s a bullet proof fix, and I bought mine after the previous owner fixed it. I bought it with 83k, now it has 102k. 19k miles in a year! Any time I drive something different, I always end up missing the car. It’s been trouble free, … comfortable, and quick. In some cases, I’ve gotten 25.4 mpg! But it’s hard to get that when you’re always on the gas. I have some modifications, including exhaust and the pops and crackles are addicting! I can’t wait until Northstar Performance gets the tune ready to remove the torque management and tune the trans and engine. For its price point, it’s faster than the, at the time, Ford Mustang, Audi TT, some BMWs, and it’s a full size FWD sedan! Can’t really ask for much more.
