2025 Subaru Forester
My other Subaru was 13 years old and I decided that at the age of 76 I was going to get a new car and figure out how to work the things on it, afterall, there were still things on my old car I couldn't work. Besides, I needed a beep to tell me another car was on my side, or that someone was walking behind me or that I was parked between the lines. And most of all, that I could look at … the display and it was BIG enough for me to see! It was a dream I had and yes, it all came true. The best part was that it was user friendly and I could figure out how to operate it.
Today, we go on trips together and she plays a big part in helping me to get there safely. She flashes things on the dashboard to remind me to be alert or that the car ahead is moving or sometimes she suggests we stop for a cup of coffee. She even keeps the car in the center of the lane when we are cruising. Some people may not like the companionship but I do. This car does everything and more and I love it. It is quiet, smooth and dependable and I love it.
