2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid
We like the car, handles well, cost efficient.
However working with Toyota is not pleasant! Stressful situations because of Toyotas lies.
When purchasing our Grand Highlander LX Hybrid we were told when we picked up the car that it would be a six week wait to get our 2nd key fob that comes with the vehicle.
In 3 days it will be 4 months we have had this vehicle
Last month when … leaving on vacation we misplaced the one fob. We did arrange with Toyota service to get a replacement using our fob insurance. After arriving home we located the fob. It would now need to be reprogrammed. Bought to Toyota and they want to charge an additional $150.00
Sorry this is unacceptable. If I would have had the second fob as promised we would not have has to get a replacement fob. This also delayed our trip by 5 hours. I asked, so OK when do I get my fob from Toyota? Duh. We don’t know can be up to a year. Excuse me why was this not disclosed before the purchase was final. May not seem like much but when you pay over $50,000 for a car you want the truth about purchase. What else is Toyota not telling us?
