An amazing little car that 'rides on a rail.'

1991 Toyota MR2
Handling is superb, my 88 Toyota Celica all trac was equal in handling and faster but that caused problems. Such as a horrendously fast speeding ticket one afternoon on I5 (143mph) and a spin with reverse on a 40mph corner with a Ford F350 coming at me. The only thing I don't like is how small the car is and other drivers don't always see it. It might be good to add 'Is it visible to … others,' in the safety section. The one I bought had been salvaged from a rear end hit so I had some stuff to fix before I could get it to a semi regular title. Although I am old it isn't too bad to get in/out of the car and it does have enough storage between the frunk (front trunk) and a small trunk in the rear. It did provide a moment of humor at DMV not too long ago. The lady asked me to pop the hood and I did. She meant the engine hatch behind cabin. I managed not to laugh but did smile. She was ok with it and I'd lay money on her not doing that again. These are quite old and getting hard to find in good condition which has caused prices to rise. The turbo versions get higher prices but I'd hate to watch another of my cars burn to ground like the All Trac.
