2025 Toyota Prius
I test drove a 2025 Prius XLE, Mazda Miata, and Subaru Crosstrek after driving a Toyota 4-Runner for 5 years. I expected good reliability and was taken by surprise with the ride and roominess so I decided to purchase one. I've been driving it for 3 months / 2,000 miles and absolutely love it! It handles like a sports car, taking on curvy backroads just as nicely as the Miata and with … better acceleration. I'm 6-ft and find the fit is just right for me. Some reviews talk about an obstructed view of the instrument cluster but I find no problem with it. The steering wheel and seat adjustment options take care of that. The hatchback design offers much more room than the Miata and it has 4 doors and a backseat. It has just as much storage as the Subaru, and much better performance and comfort. The build quality feels solid for such a small car and I'm confident I will get many miles of low mpg reliability with this beauty (54 mph without really trying).
