2022 Toyota Tundra
The new tundra took some getting used to. Coming from a 2020 tundra, the 2022 is a GIGANTIC leap forward. The pinnacle of luxury, in a truck. Really
There is something to beware of! The side trim pieces are not designed well, and lots of people have problems with them. Toyota will fix them of course, but it should never happen with a $75k truck. Toyota needs to fix that asap. Some … people are having wastegate issues with the turbos, probably an issue with one of the suppliers. I haven’t had that issue but it seems fairly common.
Overall I’m extremely happy with the truck. It’s comfortable and powerful. Toyota has designed a truck that can now compete feature-wise with other trucks (Ram, F-150, Silverado), and they hit the ground running.
