2022 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport
I just rented a 2022 Cross Sport and drove it 2000 miles to Tennessee and back to NY. This vehicle handles like it's on rails in rain or shine. I disagree with Edmunds' assessment that it runs out of steam at high speeds. It goes like a striped ape at high speed and feels like it could do so all day long. I do agree that it does not have the best acceleration from a dead stop. On my … trip, I got over 30 mpg average for the whole trip. If I had the money and I was in the market for a new vehicle, I would buy this one. I give it 4 1/2 stars.
