2024 Volkswagen Jetta GLI
First off I don’t know what Edmunds test driver only got 7.1s 0-60 with the DSG but they must be quite useless as they were either half asleep, we’re driving the regular Jetta and didn’t realise or both. I traded a 2019 WRX STi for this car and trust me I gave up absolutely nothing in 0-60. This thing is quick and will gap a new WRX quite comfortably. Before the STi I had a 2016 Acura … TLX and this GLi is waaay more refined, even better on gas and cruises at high speed like only a German sedan can.
Forget your noisy civics and accords or your cheaply built Mazda with crap brakes or your wannabe Hyundai and Kia junk that turns to dust in 2 years and treat yourself to this bargain luxury sedan.
Edmunds, you need to stop getting on your own BS and start using real test drivers, you’re waaaaay off on this one.
