Love My 1998 S70--Ride Like a Dream!

2 years ago I was scanning Craigslist, because I'd about had it with my Mercedes SUV--nobody could fix it.I came across a lipstick red 1998 Volvo s70 at a local used car lot. I had had another 1998 some years ago and loved it. I went that day and it was cherry! It did have 216,000 miles on it, but rode like a dream He took my Mercedes in trade (thank God), and off I drove.Many of my … friends though it was only a year old car! The only trouble I've had is I need to put freon in the a/c every spring,because of a slow leak (about $55.00) and in the colder weather hear in South Carolina it doesn't turn over right away. I did put in a new battery, but still does this. I went out and bought a portable battery charger. So if it's cold.I bring it outside,and it starts right up with the jump. Now have about 230,000 miles on it and still rides like a dream. Check engine light come on and off, but the mechanic aid it's nothing to worry about. Love the older Volvo's, because they are that box shape and are much roomier than the newer models... Very happy with my purchase.
