What is the XC60?
If you're looking for a comfortable, spacious, well-built and luxuriously appointed crossover SUV, the obvious choices from BMW, Audi and Mercedes are eagerly awaiting a spot in your driveway. But if you want to break the mold a little bit, there's always Volvo's answer to that German triumvirate. It's an equal match for any of the other contenders in this space, with its only real fault coming in the form of Volvo's dated infotainment setup. But what it lacks in tech it more than makes up for in character and uniqueness.
For 2024 we expect that to stay largely the same. A recent reshuffle of the XC60's trims and some new engines (with mild hybrid tech) refreshed the now 6-year-old SUV, and when automakers give their cars a little face-lift, they tend to keep them on the market unchanged for a few years. Perhaps there will be minor changes to options and some features may be reshuffled to different trims, but the XC60 will be largely the same as it is right now — but bear in mind, that's no bad thing.
