The LS is Lexus' flagship luxury sedan, and though it's not the game changer it was when it launched more than 30 years ago, the premium four-door has a lot to offer consumers looking for a luxurious and comfortable cruiser. The Teammate system, which comes standard on the LS 500h, is a Level 2 semi-autonomous driving aid that allows the car to accelerate, steer and brake automatically when engaged. The system can even merge into traffic, change lanes and overtake slower vehicles. Teammate's many sensors also give the LS the ability to park itself in certain situations, with the system able to identify a spot and maneuver the car into it automatically.

Lexus LS models

Two variants of the 2024 Lexus LS are available: the conventionally powered LS 500 and hybrid LS 500h. The LS 500 is motivated by a turbocharged V6 engine (416 horsepower, 442 lb-ft of torque) mated to a 10-speed automatic, and it comes standard in rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is an extra-cost option.

The LS 500h, meanwhile, comes standard with all-wheel drive and is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine assisted by two electric motors. Combined output is 354 horsepower.
