Edmunds' Inside Line Editor-in-Chief Scott Oldham Becomes Third Edmunds Editor Named to North American Car and Truck of the Year Jury

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — March 18, 2008 — Scott Oldham, Editor-in-Chief of Inside Line, has been invited to serve on the North American Car and Truck of the Year Jury. Colleagues Karl Brauer, Editor-in-Chief of Edmunds.com, and Michelle Krebs, Senior Editor for Edmunds' AutoObserver.com, also serve on the jury.

"Scott's expertise and the high regard with which he is regarded in the auto industry made him a terrific choice and we are looking forward to his help," said Christopher Jensen of the jury's Organizing Committee.

The jury consists of 50 top journalists from a variety of automotive media outlets in the United States and Canada. Through a conscientious process, the group selects the new vehicles that are named most noteworthy each January at the world-renowned North American International Auto Show held in Detroit.

"This is a tremendous honor," remarked Oldham. "I look forward to working with the industry's most respected journalists and will take pleasure in honoring its most significant vehicles."

Oldham joined Edmunds in December 2004 and became Editor-in-Chief of Inside Line in November 2006. Previously he worked at Sport Compact Car, European Car, Popular Hot Rodding and Popular Mechanics. Oldham has also been published in Car and Driver and the Los Angeles Times.
