Edmunds.com Bolsters Executive Leadership Team with Four New Hires

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — September 23, 2015 — Car shopping destination Edmunds.com today strengthened its leadership team when it announced the hiring of four new executives: Nathalie Lubensky, Chief Marketing Officer; Mark Longfellow, Sr. Vice President -- Dealer Business; Mark Rankin, Vice President -- Dealer Platform Development; and Sven Wood, Vice President -- Brand and Product Marketing.

As CMO, Nathalie Lubensky will be in charge of expanding Edmunds' reputation and reach as America's premier car-buying destination. She joins the company from Sony Pictures Television Networks Latin America, where she served as Senior Vice President and General Manager overseeing the development of Sony's Spanish-language channel brands, including AXN and Canal Sony. Prior to joining Sony in 2012, Lubensky was the Senior Vice President, Affiliate Marketing for Media Networks at Disney and ESPN, where she developed marketing strategies to support the network's distribution and subscriber acquisition with partners such as Apple, DirecTV, Verizon and Time Warner Cable. Her work was critical in expanding the network's presence on content distribution platforms such as TV Everywhere, iTunes, VOD and Broadband. Lubensky holds a degree in Communication Arts & Marketing from NYIT, and she is a graduate of the Cable Executive Management program at Harvard Business School and the NAMIC Executive Leadership Program at The Anderson School of Management (University of California).

Mark Longfellow comes to Edmunds following a highly successful career in sales and marketing in the construction industry. He most recently served as a general manager at James Hardie, a construction leader with over $1.7 billion in annual worldwide sales. Earlier in his career he served as VP of Sales and Marketing for Makita Power Tools and Director of Marketing for Custom Building Products. As Sr. Vice President -- Dealer Business at Edmunds, Longfellow will oversee the company's national accounts, Tier 3 sales, Tier 3 regional training, inside sales, dealer operations, and sales development organizations. He is also an active leader and board member with many charities, including Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Love Across the Ocean, and Los Angeles Sober Living Network.

As Edmunds' Vice President -- Dealer Platform Development, Mark Rankin is responsible for overseeing the company's rapidly growing relationships with dealers and building partnerships both inside and outside the automotive industry. He brings a wealth of experience in the automotive startup space — most recently as CEO of Dealer HQ, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of automotive mobile systems, data management and enhancement operations for manufacturers, automotive vendors and other 3rd parties. Rankin previously served as Chief Technology Officer at dealership software innovator eLead CRM and, before that, at American Auto Exchange. He is also a founding board member of Force 4 Compassion, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting against human trafficking in America and abroad.

Sven Wood brings to Edmunds 16 years of automotive marketing experience, all of which were for BMW. He most recently worked as BMW's sales and marketing manager for the Western Region, and previously served as BMW's area manager in Los Angeles. He also has experience managing BMW's CPO programs. As Vice President -- Brand and Product Marketing, Sven is charged with developing new ways to showcase Edmunds' products and services to both car shoppers and dealers.

Lubensky, Rankin and Wood have already begun their work at Edmunds. Longfellow starts at the company on October 13.

"All four of these new hires are exceptionally talented executives who have the experience and savvy to take our business operations to the next level," said Edmunds.com President Seth Berkowitz. "We anticipate that their diverse backgrounds from multiple fields will give us a fresh perspective on how we can deliver new ways to sell and communicate our services to the automotive industry."
