A number of strong offers are available this Labor Day, making it a great holiday weekend to find a deal on a new car, truck or SUV. With 2021 models beginning to trickle onto lots, dealers are motivated to clear out their remaining new 2020 stock, driving bigger discounts and incentives. And with used car prices continuing to rise, these new-car deals have never been as enticing. The average discount on 2020 model year vehicles climbed to $3,111 in August compared to $2,968 in July and $2,845 in June, according to Edmunds data.
