    The salesman Chris and manager Ryan are excellent! Not your typical car buying experience. I felt they truly cared about my needs and interests and did not pressure me what so ever. They made the process a breeze, took the time to listen to me, educate me and did whatever they could to make sure I walked away happy.

    Great experience from the time i left my car. Someone opened the door for me and invited me into the showroom, sat down with me and explained every detail. Excellent all around. I went to another dealership before Barberino closer to my home and after 15 minutes of no one paying any attention to me came to Baberino and was very happy with the entire process.

    I LOVED Blair! He was not pushy. Very down to earth. Great asset. This is the 3rd car I have bought from Barbarino and I would refer anyone that is looking for a car to him.

    All the staff and sales crew are very welcoming. My sales rep Craig did a wonderful job answering questions and as he is fairly new to this business, I liked that he was quick to get information if he wasn't sure of the answer.

    My husband and I went to Barberino Nissan Wallingford and had a good experience. Peter was our sales man and he did a great job helping us. Everything went as well as planned and the sales people were friendly and Albert the finacial person was great and explained everything to us wonderfully.

    I was charged $22,000 for a 2013 Nissan sentra with 23,000 miles on it. Come to find out the blue book value is only $8,000. Nissan is not supposed to charge more than 125% than the blue book value? And I was charged $2,500.00 for extended warranty when the car was still under warranty. Wow if this is not unlawful than I don't know what is. I know that the contract that I entered is now illegal and cannot be enforced on their part. Now I need to find out who to contact to let them know and what I can do to get help

    I cannot say enough about how pleasant Rob made my car buying experience. I will DEFINITELY be returning to this dealership for years and years to come. The sales people don't force you into something you cannot afford, they fit your vehicle to your needs. Made my first car buying experience stress free and enjoyable!!!

    BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE. Let me start by saying I am a 22 year old female who got taken advantage of because this dealership saw an opportunity. I went in alone which was my first mistake but not for nothing you should be able to buy a car from here without getting completely ripped off. If you get anything at all out of this review at least please do extensive research before purchasing from this particular Nissan dealership. 6 months ago I purchased a brand new 2014 Nissan Altima. I was trading in my 2012 fully loaded Jeep Liberty. I only owed 10,000 on it. My credit score wasn't A level credit because I am a student but certainly not terrible. I won't ramble on about the details but lets just say this. I traded in my car they acted like they were giving me this great deal by paying off the 10,000 when in reality they should have GIVEN me money towards my purchase because I was in positive equity with that vehicle that I only owed 10,000 on and by given me some money I mean they screwed me from the get for about 5,000 dollars in addition to that they gave me a 14% interest rate. Mind you my credit hadn't changed at all from my first purchase with my Jeep and I had a 6% interest rate (I told them I could only afford a (350.00 dollar car payment) they said no problem. They sold me the car 4,000 above MSRP told me my interest rate hadn't changed and that my car payment was in my price range went through my paperwork really quickly (I stupidly signed without reading everything which is my own fault) long story short. I am paying 555.00 a month for 7 years and paying a total of 41,000 for my nissan altima at the end of it. They sold me gap insurance for 3500.00 when it is normally sold for 700.00.... Also this is minor in comparison to their criminal behavior they said I will get free oil changes for life when in reality the first one is free and they MAKE you pay for other serviced that are requirements in their eyes every time in order to receive the free oil change. THESE PEOPLE ARE [non-permissible content removed] STAY AWAY.

    Let me start by saying my situation was less than poor, my credit is horrible, I owed excessively more on my old vehicle then what it was worth and it has been giving me issues since day 1. I had seen their commercials and advertising stating they could help you get approved and help make your last bad deal better so I figured I would give it a try. What I respect and like the most is they in a very delicate way were very honest with me every step of the way about how bad my situation was but never said NO we can't help you! For every road block Mr. Mac provided at least 2 options. Granted my payment increased and it wasn't exactly what I was praying for, I am still driving a new Altima, (with some good options), with a manageable payment and no longer driving a vehicle that would have NEVER lasted me until my last payment or even the last year of payments. I will definitely recommend them to everyone and go back in a year or 2 when I've reestablished myself and trade it in for something with a lower payment. Thank you Mr. Mac and JP for your excellent service!

    I have been a diehard Honda fan for years and just purchased my first Nissan from this dealership. After receiving a great deal online I went and drove the Maxima. I must say I absolutely fell in love with everything about it. No back and forth games and great financing options.

    I bought my brand new Nissan Altima a few weeks ago at Barberino. I was very hesitant on going and looking at cars without my husband with me because I was afraid I wouldn't ask the right questions. I looked at all of the new vehicles and I felt overwhelmed, but then a friendly salesman came to help me. He asked me some very basic questions as to what I was looking for and what I needed. He really made me feel at ease about the whole process. We narrowed our search down and then went for a test drive. He really took the time to break everything in the car down for me. I decided on the Altima that I wanted and they had the color in stock so I was able to leave that day with my brand new car with the help of that kind salesman at Barberino. My husband was so happy with my decision that he is thinking about getting the new Maxima from them, I couldn't be happier with my new car.

    I had a fantastic experience at Barberino Nissan. I was worried about getting a fair deal on my new Altima coupe but they treated me with respect and got me the color I wanted! Very happy! Big smiles!

    My Husband and I initially thought our car buying experience was wonderful. Only to realize a few months later that we were extremely misled in order to get us to purchase our car from them. I am a very detailed, organized person when it comes to purchasing anything. I research, i compare, and I always like to get the best deal. In the end, Barberino's offered us what i considered to be the best deal, adding in a maintenance package for 3 years for us to use throughout the country (as we were moving out of state). Stating when we purchased the car that we would "receive all the information in the mail" in regards to our maintenance package. After months of phone calls and frustration they denied ever offering such a package to us. If I were you, I'd used this dealership as a bargaining tool then buy your car at another dealership. Both Old Saybrook and Middletown offered me great deals that i would have gone with if these "professionals" hadn't lied to me and offered more. In communicating with them, they continued to ask me "why would we offer that to you if it was $1,800 that we would have to pay?" Stating how much money they had lost on our deal. Not sure when asking your clients about your own decisions was considered appropriate or professional. In the end, we have a car that we enjoy but there is a bitter and frustrating edge on the experience because of their underhanded way of reeling you in. Proceed with caution.
