Great buying experience
by Henry Ventura on 12/28/2024
I recently purchased a 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid from Ed Voyles Kia in Smyrna, GA, and I cannot say enough about the fantastic experience I had working with Isaac DaSilva. From start to finish, Isaac went above and beyond to ensure I was… completely satisfied.
Isaac’s extensive knowledge about the vehicle was impressive. He answered all of my questions with confidence and clarity, making the decision process so much easier. During the test drive, he was attentive and thorough, helping me fully understand the features and benefits of the Carnival Hybrid.
The negotiation process, which is often stressful, was anything but. Isaac was patient, courteous, and truly focused on finding the best deal for our family. He treated us with respect and professionalism throughout, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
As a former Honda customer, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Isaac’s exceptional service has made me a Kia fan. Thanks to his efforts, not only did I leave with the perfect vehicle for my family, but I also left with a sense of loyalty to this dealership. I will certainly be recommending Isaac and Ed Voyles to friends and family, and I look forward to considering Kia for future purchases.
Thank you, Isaac, for setting a new standard for excellent customer service!

Great Service
by Steve9736 on 01/01/2016I always do everything Ed Voyles says to do with the servicing of my Sorrento and have never had any issue's . They are a wonderful dealer to do business withRecalls - Kia Soul
by KiaSoulDragon on 12/14/2015I had 2 recalls completed on my Kia Soul. Diana Bell, Service Advisor took the time to review what would be done and that she would call me when the service was complete. She shared the service department could be competitive on other… services needed in the future. Overall an excellent experience.STAY AWAY, READ ONLINE REVIEWS.....
by motyson on 12/08/2015My car sat at this dealership for 2 weeks and I had to call service agent Diana Bell numerous times to find out the status of my car. I made a complaint with her service manager, who then lied to me about my car issue being discovered.… After that, I demanded to speak to the General Manager, John Schibi. John came up with a temporary solution and told me I would hear from my service agent the next day. At 4:30pm the next day, no one had called me so I called and was told to pick my car up. Two weeks later and they were unable to solve the issue my car had. After they seemingly forgot that they even had my vehicle and failed to update me daily, the experience picking up my car made things worse. The service rep checked in my loaner and then stood near me for 10 minutes picking at his fingernails and didn't notify me of the low gas tank. Instead he allowed me to wait 10 minutes next to him only to have someone else tell me. After I came back 20 minutes later I noticed my car was not waiting for me. Instead my service rep was sitting in her office chatting with another agent and the service rep that checked me in was chatting with a Cashier. While waiting another 8 ½ minutes for the service rep to bring my car to me, I ask the cashier for the name of the General Manager and she replies that she doesn’t know how to spell his name and doesn't even bother to ask a colleague or look it up. When my car comes, after 2 weeks of sitting in their garage, I notice that they didn't even run it through their car wash, as it is customary to do at dealerships. The service rep gets out of my car and I notice that he does not remove the standard paper mats from my car where he and the mechanics have undoubtedly transferred oils and other car fluids onto my mat. Even after hearing me make all of these complaints and seeing how extremely irate I was, neither the service rep nor my service agent offered me a simple apology. Instead, she said, “Have a Merry Christmas”.Excellent Service
by Uniqueyanni on 04/15/2015Glenn Stevenson and his team were awesome. They worked it out for me and put me in a brand new 2015 Kia Optima. They ensured that I was comfortable with my purchase rather than putting me in something I did not want. I am glad to become… part of the Kia family. It was a pleasure doing business.Great Service!
by Loary on 04/11/2015I had the most wonderful service in buying my new car. The staff was very friendly and warm. I would recommend them to everyone. I had a firm amount to buy a car and they stayed right within that amount. They did not try to change my mind… and try to get me in a car that was over my budget.Awesome Service
by csnipe23 on 03/04/2015I truly enjoyed my car buying experience at Ed Voyles Kia. I was greeted before I even entered the building. My salesman, Glen made the experience even better. He provided me with all options available to me. I brought my previous car from… Ed Voyles Kia and Glen helped me then as well. This time was even better. I truly appreciate the help provided.Awesome!!

by tuyet13 on 08/05/2010I went to the dealership on 7/21/10 in hopes of purchasing a new vehicle. My salesman Shannon was very helpful but when it came to to the financing it was downhill. I was there most of the day not leaving until 11pm that night. I was… finally told that I would be able to purchase the vehicle with 1500 down which I agreed to. After signing all the paperwork I read over everything and on the paperwork it said th it was being financed by Kia. About 2 weeks have gone by now and I receive a telephone that they were not able to get an approval on the vehicle and I have to return it. I am a repeat customer with this company but they have just lost me, I will never purchase another vehicle from ed voyles hyundai or kia. I would have never driven the car off the lot if it had not been approved. I think this was very dishonest. This was one of the worst experiances I have ever had. The sad part is there was no apology or anything. will never return and would not recommend to anyone else.Kia? Car salesman experience? I was pleasantly surprised!
by alliemichelle on 06/07/2010I hate car buying and I don't mind saying I hate dealing with most car salesmen. I did not expect to buy a Kia, hadn't even really considered it. I'd seen a Kia Sportage on the road and it did sort of tweak my interest, but....not… dramatically. I thought it might be sluggish or cheap or just not what I wanted. I wanted a car I could carry my father around in, pick up antiques or plants and still have it drive like a car. Most of the small SUVs look alike, drive like a truck, and just didn't feel like what I was looking for. My husband and I drove to Marietta to seriously look at a Suzuki Grand Vitara. If it was moderately acceptable, I'd intended to buy it. At the last minute, we decided it would be silly not to at least to look at the Kia to rule it out, and I'd pretty much made up my mind it was going to be unacceptable. The Kia dealership was right down the road from the other dealership, so we went there first to knock it out of the way. Fred at Ed Voyles Kia greeted me and my husband at the door. He intuitively assessed who was going to be the owner of the car and made sure he spoke to us both equally. He was respectful and seemed at ease (not "ON") as he asked what we were interested in and took us to the vehicles. (Kia sportage) He made sure my comfort level was met on the test drive (we are not from the area) and answered all my questions. He was patient as I looked at the different Sportages on the lot. I have been looking for a small SUV since Nov. 2009. Subaru Forester was an option, but it was a little larger than I wanted and sounded like a sewing machine and truthfully, I hated the salesman, who after meeting me immediately assumed I wanted to know about his family, children and how many cats he had. No. I wanted a vehicle and a good price based on national averages paid. That was the one thing he didn't supply. With the Internet nowdays, it's easy to know what a good price is if you've done your homework. You can see regionally what others are paying. Why keep up the game of the haggle and turn people off? Back to Fred at Ed Voyles Kia: Fred treated me like an intelligent consumer. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He gave me drive out prices that were very good and competitive. Regardless, after looking at the Sportage, we thanked Fred and left and went to look at the vehicle we orig. drove to Marietta for, the Suzuki Grand Vitara. Fred was gracious to the end. Based on my experience at the other dealership, which had less to do with the salesman than the owner and the rather distasteful women in financing who let us sit in the "showroom" for twenty minutes while they peeked at us and waited for the owner to drive over, insult our intelligence and tell us the special Internet price was MSRP with the rebate applied, I wouldn't have bought a coke there if they were selling them half off. My husband and I left after a few choice words about consumer relationships, respect and bait and switch games. We drove back to Kia...Fred took us for a drive again and didn't assume anything outwardly. I felt the Kia Sportage LX really fit my needs better than any other model I'd driven. Price was not the deciding factor, but I got a fair quote and that sweetened the deal. I bought the Sportage. The more I drive my Kia Sportage, the more I love it. The V6 engine is more than enough power for me. It's responsive and I just love the compactness of the vehicle. It's also surprisingly comfortable. The back seat has more room that the larger Suzuki Grand Vitara and the seats fold flat for enlarging the cargo hold area, whereas the Suzuki did not, it has about a 4 inch rise where the seat folded down. The warrantee is also better. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a second Kia, and I'm surprised. I was so unfamiliar with the brand. Shame on me. I was shocked to look inside the Soul, a car that had previously not interested me at all. I was almost sorryED VOYLES KIA - STAY AWAY
by carsbuyer on 09/07/2009I visited Ed Voyales Kia (EVK) August 8, 2009. No cust. waiting, only sales reps. After we helped ourselves to the donuts, someone finally asked us if we'd been helped. This begins the worst sales experience of my life (it beat out the… time share experience back in the 90's). DeAndre Washington was a very nice and courteous sales guy but very in experienced, extremely unorganized and lacked confidence. After test driving I attempted to negotiate a price and soon realized he had no empowerment to make any decisions, so I dealt with the general manager David Booth and we settled the price of a Kia Forte. We also discussed in detail the "clunker" prorgram and the qualfications. One requirement of the program was the registration from previous 2 years which was locked in the glovebox of my clunker and we couldn't get it open. David Booth confidently asked Deandre Washington to have the service open the glovebox. Minutes later Deandre advised that the glovebox had been opened and we could get the registration out. To my horror, the glovebox had been completely destroyed and was hanging open by the hinge. It looked as if they shot a whole in it and then took a blow torch to it. Deandre was not very empathtic when he told me "you think that's bad...wait til you hear what they will do with the car once you trade it in, they're just going to destroy the car anyway!" This was my first experience with buying a car from dealer so to be safe, I took all the paperwork home to review and to wait on financing appvl. When I was finally told that I had been approved for financing, (they wouldn't give me appvl in writing) i returned to the dealer, only to be told by David Booth that the negotiated price was no longer valid. He said "we just got word from the to top that trade-in value has to be applied fo the MSRP only. The "new price" was $2K higher After threatening to escalate the matter above him, he offered a new price - still higher than the original negotiation but I agreed to it along with some free oil changes and car detailing vouchers. We began new paper work that day and I asked Deandre if there were any more "surprises" they were going to whip out and he nervously laughed and said no. Well there were...several more surprises which left me angry so I decided that I didn't need a car bad enought to deal with a very [violative content deleted] David Booth. He renaged to many times to count. Consumers - you deserve to be treated like an intelligent individual, not ignorant sheep that don't know a "spot deliver" scam from a hole in the wall. STAY AWAY FROM DAVID BOOTH - GM AT ED VOYALES KIA AND ED VOYALES HYUNDAI ON COBB PARKWAY IN SMYRNA, GA. MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL PAPERWORK THOROUGHLY BEFORE SIGNING - ESPECIALLY THE "BAILMENT AND REVISION" DOCUMENT. HE WAS VERY UPSET WHEN I ASKED TO TAKE THE PAPERWORK HOME FOR REVIEW. HE HAD THE AUDACITY TO ASK ME "DONT YOU TRUST ME? - ALL DEALERS HAVE THE SAME PAPERWORK" DONT SIGN ANY PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITHOUT KNOWING THAT FINANCING HAS BEEN 100% APPROVED!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND EVEN THE LIKES OF DAVID BOOTH CANT SWINDEL YOU.Great service with Ed Voyles
by pmatchette on 12/10/2013updated 04/26/2025I am quite happy after buying my new 2014 Optima. I want to thank Glenn S. for a great low-pressure sales experience.Ed Voyles KIA-SMYRNA, GA is a cut above the rest!
by Ld84 on 05/20/2014updated 04/26/2025I just purchased a 2015 KIA K900 from Ed Voyles KIA. My salesperson was Glenn S. From top to bottom, from first phone call to taking delivery of the vehicle, my experience was phenomenal. Glenn was open, honest and fair in his dealings with… me. The dealership personnel were all friendly and very professional. The price was fair and the product is simply fantastic. I came to KIA from driving a Mercedes Benz and was blown away with the product lineup. I was so impressed with the new KIAs and the professionalism of the entire staff. I would not say that about other dealerships. Many gouge on pricing or flat-out lie to the customer. Ed Voyles KIA believes in long term relationship building... not a one time transaction. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dealership and also Glenn Stevenson. The gentleman I dealt with in financing was also a joy to deal with.. very pleasant, helpful and professional.I am a Customer for life at Ed Voyles Kia in Smyrna!!!!!!!
by LaurenTH on 04/23/2014updated 04/26/2025First I want to say thank you to the amazing management team, sales team and service center @ Ed Voyles Kia in Smyrna for their impeccable customer service and for always looking out for my best interests. I am thrilled to be a part of the… Ed Voyles Kia family. I am your customer for life!!!! I just purchased my 3rd Kia (Credenza 2014) last Friday from Glenn Stevenson and Kyle. As a previous owner of several BMW's, a Jaguar, a Volvo, a QX4 and a Mercedes, I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with the top safety ratings, exclusive features, technology, comfort, gas mileage and style of the 3 Kia models I have owned (2011 Optima SX Limited, 2013 Optima SX Limited & now the 2014 Credenza). I love every single one of the Kia's I have owned. I always get compliments every where I go and constantly refer people to Ed Voyles Kia in Smyrna. Glenn S. has assisted me with my last 2 Kia purchases. I highly recommend Glenn Stevenson for so many reasons. Glenn's honesty, personality, product knowledge, attention to detail, follow-up, customer service and professionalism are exceptional. He never pressures you, he listens to your needs and wants, he is sooo patient (I can be a pain when it comes to deciding on what color car and color interior I want), he is fair, and gives a very thorough demonstration of all of the awesome features and technology in the Kias. Glenn goes above and beyond, he is a true GEM!!!!! I could go on forever about how wonderful Glenn is!!!!! Thank you again Glenn for making buying a car so pleasurable and easy. I absolutely love my new car and can't quit smiling when I look at it. In addition to Glenn S., I have a few other fabulous people I would like to mention. To start, Kyle who is fairly new at Ed Voyles also assisted me with my recent purchase of the 2014 Credenza. Kyle, has a great personality, product knowledge, he was a pleasure to work with. He smiled the whole time I had him pulling up the different color Credenzas out of the dark pouring down rain into a covered area. I really was a pain. Thank you Kyle!!!! Thank you to Tahir I., General Sales Manager and Fred A., Sales Manager for being ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Y'all have always surpassed my expectations by truly caring about me and wanting the best for me. I am so thrilled to be apart of the Ed Voyles Kia family. Thank you again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to Diana and Dorothy in the service department for always being courteous, efficient, and just great!!!!! To mention a few others on excellent customer service: Mike L., Jeff E., Larry H., AB C. and Tony W. Thank you all again. Sincerely, Lauren Toporek Hulsebos JohnsonFelt At Ease and Welcome
by LandKL on 03/12/2014updated 04/26/2025I was very impressed with Glenn S. and his professionalism. He was very easy going and never made me feel as if I were getting "the run around". He spoke to my husband and I with respect and friendliness that is hard to find when doing… business these days. My husband and I drove from out of town to do business with Glenn because of his ability to correspond through emails and phone calls without any hype or the sales pitch desperation that is often heard from car dealerships. He made me feel at ease and as if I were talking to a friend from the first email, and still does when he calls or emails me now.More deceit and lies for the rankings
by cris5 on 06/16/2011updated 04/26/2025Spent months researching my next vehicle and decided to give Kia a chance. The sales representative was decent. I say decent because he was patient with me through the whole process which took me months. I got email answers to most of my… questions and he agreed to settle for a total purchase price which no Kia dealership could touch with a ten foot pole. The closest to that price was Douglasville Kia who qouted me $1,400 higher. Again, the whole process was decent until I sat down with the financial guy for the last step of the process. As I studied in detail the agreement I noticed the purchase price was different by $340 higher. When I asked why, the response was "the $340 is for that road hazard insurance you wanted". Really? I said NO! three times when offered. Which part of NO sounds like YES? There is not a vowel, a consonant, or anything in the pronunciation of the word NO that could possibly be confused with the word YES. I also asked, if this was the insurance, why is the cost for insurance added to the total price of the car and not be an item in the lease agreement explaining the coverage hazard. The answer? "A lot of extras do not appear in the lease agreement". Great, so at least he was honest enough to admit he was attempting to deceive me. The lease agreement is a long piece of paper full of numbers that can overwhelm anyone (especially those who are not patient). Regardless of where you buy or lease a car, read up on all the dealer tricks and how they try to add extras to squeeze your hard earned money. My experience at Ed Voyles can help me warn you that they will insult your intelligence, try to add costly maintenance packages to your contract (hoping you don't notice it), and then lie right to your face if you catch them. Walking into a dealership should not feel like being thrown to the wolves. It should be a pleasant experience...after all, look at the end result....you end up driving a brand new car and one should feel great about it. If past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior, then go into Ed Voyles Kia expecting deceit, outright lies, and ample justification for why car dealerships rank # 4 in complaints in the Better Business Bureau.New Kia Optima!!
by Philm7 on 04/11/2013updated 04/26/2025Great no hassle experience! Wanted to start my search online without any dealer calls and pressure. Glenn was the only salesman to respect my privacy, give me the information I requested, and not push for phone call or test drive until I… was ready. He quoted me a very reasonable price right up front and was able to match a even better price when I received it. Overall, I purchased a new Kia Optima from Glenn in about 5 days without any tedious negotiations! He gave me accurate " out the door" pricing information that let me know he really wanted to sell a car and not play games. Very satisfied!!Glenn Stevenson at Ed Voyles Kia was outstanding

by Joan_Snow on 12/30/2013updated 04/26/2025I was unexpectedly pushed into the market last month when my reliable Civic finally gave out on me. I always thought I would buy another Civic when the time came. Multiple people suggested that I look into the Soul before I made any rash… decisions. I love the new body style and the size is just perfect. The sales staff and finance team were extremely accommodating. I highly recommend both the dealership and the Soul.Very Nice Folks
