Our sales person was with another customer when we arrived, but he quickly had his assistant step in so we didn't lose any time for the test drive/… trade-in process. Once we came to an agreement on our sale, we moved to the finance manager to sign paperwork and she was very thorough. Our new Honda was cleaned, fueled and programmed when we picked it up and the sales team was very thorough in going over all the features of the Honda and assisted in moving personal items and plates from the trade in to the new vehicle. I would strongly recommend Penske Honda not just for their unbeatable pricing, but also their great sales and finance team.New odyssey

by chiwa16 on 06/26/2014I came to Penske last weekend to lease a 2014 Honda Civic EX, and had a terrible experience with their sales, finance, and customer service teams. This place has lower ratings on Google for a valid reason--don't take your chances and skip… this place completely. When I refused to drive home a car that was different than the one I wrote a check for and agreed on, they then admitted they didn't have what I wanted in inventory--after all the paperwork had been signed. They claimed they needed my check as a security deposit while they looked for the correct car and promised they wouldn't cash it in unless they did find it. Despite failing to find the correct car, they cashed in the entire check. I'm still waiting on a $900 refund from them for this. I reached out to "Bruce H" at his listed email address after my first day at Penske went horribly, but it turns out that email address leads to the internet sales manager, and not Bruce. I got a voice message from the internet sales manager the next day saying he'd like to help turn my experience into a positive one. I called him back, but he didn't pick up. I asked to speak with him while I was at Penske as well, but was told he was too busy and couldn't help anyway. No follow up call or email. These people say they care about their customer's experience, but clearly they don't. The only silver lining out of this all was that Song P negotiated a great deal on the LX to make up for everything. He truly does care about the customer and making things right--he repeatedly apologized for his coworker's mistakes and did everything he could to make up for it. It's a shame he works at Penske because I want to give my future business to him, but can't stand the thought of returning to this place.Horrible sales people
by ench on 09/25/2010I was told I could not test drive a new CR-X as the dealer does not want a bunch of people putting a bunch of miles on their cars. What? I went there on a Saturday, and sales[violative content deleted], Bill, tells me to "come back during… the week so he can show me the whole thing". So I guess the "whole thing" takes too long on a weekend. No thanks, Bill. I'll take my 100k+/yr salary, my 2 current Honda vehicles and all of their service/oil changes, along with my future Honda purchases to another dealer. Way to go Penske. You hired a real winner. You aren't selling Lamborghini's.two strikes
by whoosierdaddy on 07/21/2009Twice I tried to purchase a new Honda from these people because they are the closest to my home and have a large inventory, but both times I bought a car from another dealer, due to the way I was treated here. The first time I… approached the receptionist and said I was here to buy a new Odyssey. The sales manager happened to be walking by and she introduced him to me. He said he would get a salesperson for me. After 20 minutes standing there I asked the receptionist to page the sales manager. She said he was out to lunch. I left. 3 years later I returned to give them another shot. I looked at new Accords on the lot for awhile then a salesman came out. He didn't know much about the cars, didn't know anything about their real inventory other than they have or can locate every possible configuration so it doesn't matter; he said they have a "virtual inventory" so every Honda in the nation is counted as in their inventory. He wanted me to purchase a car first and if not in their inventory he would locate it; however there might be a location-fee.
