Great Experience
by jodadej12 on 12/19/2015I purchased a Fusion through the price promise program. I was contacted by Patrick who told me the vehicle was available. I showed up and he had the vehicle ready for me to drive and was very knowledgeable about all of the features. We went… inside to talk numbers and it could not have been easier. They honored the price I saw online. John who did the financing was very nice and not pushy at all when I declined any warranties and finished the paperwork very quickly. I would highly recommend Al Packer and the price promise program to friends and family.Stay away from this dealership
by dlane71980 on 12/11/2015Stay away from this dealership go elsewhere. Believe all the reviews that you read on this dealership quoting and agreeing on one price and then charging another. I bought a 2011 Ford Mustang at the dealership on 12/05/2015 after arriving… at the dealership I was told the price of the car was 12974.00. I pulled out my cellphone and showed the salesperson the price on the website was 10974.00. The salesman asked if he take my cell phone to show the sales manager I said OK. The salesperson came back after about 5 minutes and said they could do the price of 10974.00. I waited about an hour to an hour and half for financing. When I went back to financing in my haste and excitement I didn't notice that they had switched the price to 12469.00. When I called to ask why the price was different I have been given different answers from different people. Also they are refusing to refund me the 1495.00 that I was overcharged after the agreed upon and shook on price.Bait and Switch In the EXTREME
by becautious on 08/30/2015Lies, Lies, Lies... Not just a great Guns & Roses album, this is apparently the corporate motto at Al Packers Ford in White Marsh. In short, they bait you in the door with excellent prices on the internet, then when you examine a… vehicle and tell them you'll take the deal at the advertised price, they come back with a final price over 5,000 dollars HIGHER than advertised. My experience there on 8/29/15 was horrible! The first lie they told was that the truck I wanted had been transferred days ago to another dealer. As I'm walking the lot not finding anything that interests me getting ready to leave, the sales rep asks if I'd consider a "demo". I said sure, let's take a look... turns out the "demo," is the exact truck (confirmed with the VIN on the window sticker that I printed off their website and brought with me to the dealer) that they lied about earlier when they said they had supposedly transfrerred to another dealer days ago. They then go on fumbling to explain away this first lie with numerous, evolving new lies. We ask if they will knock some money off since there is obvious damage to the truck (gouges in the 20" rim and scratches to three panels on the passenger side, they proceed to lie about how the truck was damaged... "Someone backed into the truck while it was parked here on the lot"... really, how is it then that the gouges in the rims clearly indicate this truck was in motion when the damage occurred... more lies are spewed to cover this lie. Next, indicate they will not knock off any money but they will fix the damages before delivery. I could go on & on, suffice it to say - having dealt with dozens of auto dealership in my life - I have NEVER seen a dealership lie so blatantly AND bait & switch on price so significantly. I pray someone in Maryland gives this dealership what they deserve and prosecutes their blatant bait and switch tactics under the following code: 2010 Maryland Code COMMERCIAL LAW TITLE 14 - MISCELLANEOUS CONSUMER PROTECTION PROVISIONS Subtitle 29 - False Advertising and Related Crimes Section 14-2903 - Bait and switch. § 14-2903. Bait and switch. (a) Prohibited.- A person may not advertise for sale merchandise, commodities, or service through an advertisement describing the merchandise, commodities, or service: (1) As part of a plan or scheme with the intent not to sell the merchandise, commodity, or service at the advertised price; or (2) With the intent not to sell the merchandise, commodity, or service. (b) Penalty.- A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or a fine not exceeding $500 or both.Great Experience
by frederickr1 on 08/25/2015It was a pleasure dealing with Bernadette Pinder, She went above and beyond from start to finish, no pressure, very patient and thorough long after closing time. I will highly recommend her and Al Packer's White White Marsh Ford to all my… friends and family. I have been very happy with all my dealings with you guys. Thank You Very Much Fred ( Love My New F150 :)Best Buying Experience Ever
by FreeMan2014 on 05/20/2015I had a very good experience. I worked with Josh and Richard in their internet department and had a very smooth transaction. I referred my neighbor to them and he had an equally good experience.Poor sales
by notapackerfan on 05/16/2015I just tried dealing with them and what a joke they are.First off their advertised priced is $7,000 dollars less then their actual price and then the try to offer you a ridiculous trade in amount.Stay away from these [non-permissible… content removed] and go elsewhere.Buyer Beware!!!
by dismayed4 on 04/02/2015Update - It has only been a day and half and it is already in the service center. They have to replace the clutch in the car - we did not even have a chance to drive it a full day before the problems arose. On a side note if you are just… looking for service -- Chris and the service people I came into contact with today were very helpful and professional. He took the time to explain the issue, tell me about the manual auto trans that was never explained to me by sales and even went out of his way to call other dealers to locate the backordered part. It really is a shame they can not find that quality in their Sales General Manager.Go somewhere else
by JRay2568 on 12/17/2014Horrible dealership..... Went in to purchase a car, first thing I told the salesman, Richard, was that I needed a non-smoker car, as my wife is sensitive to the smell. We found a Fusion, and it smelled great(at first). The "Bottom Line"… price was listed at $12,641, and when I showed Richard the online price of $10,900, he stated that price did not include freight, or an $1100 inspection fee. We spent several hours doing all the paperwork, and after I had signed over my trade and were doing the final paperwork, the base price of the car jumped to $13,500. I was told they put the freight charges on to the base price, not listed on the bill of sale like tax, title, tags and dealer processing fee. I get the car home, and after about 4 days, the air fresheners used on the car began to dissipate, and you could smell the odor of smoke starting to come out. I called/emailed Richard, and he sent me an email asking me when I could bring it in. I sent a response with a date/time and did not hear anything back. I went to the dealership at the appointed date and time that I had sent, and was told the interior guy only comes on Fridays, Richard went in to the back to find a service manager to find out what time I could come in on Friday, but could not locate him, so he said he would call/email me back to confirm a time( They did offer to buy the car back for $11,000 , more than $3000 less than paid just 4 days prior...what a joke). Two days later, with no response, I emailed Richard, and informed him that the rear defrost was not working at all either. Two weeks go by, and no response, so I emailed Richard again, detailing my entire experience with his dealership, and my displeasure at not receiving a response or a solution to the problems. I also stated that I would be leaving reviews on various sites that reflected the poor service and practices that I experienced . I also copied 4 managers on the email. The only response I got back was from Richard, threatening legal action if I put up negative reviews. I never heard from a manager, and never got a time to bring the vehicle in to address the issues. That was more than two weeks ago. I regret ever stepping foot on their lot. BUYER BEWARE Norris / Koons / or any other ford dealer would be a much better choice. They false adverstise car features
by linz3377 on 11/09/2014I bought a car on the 4th of November and they lied about features on it. I called them about it admitted they screwed up and refuse to fix the mistake by adding the feature that would cost them $200. Dont go.Excellent No-pressure sales
by Daniel222 on 03/21/2013updated 04/25/2025When I am in the market for a new vehicle I do not like the hassles and pressures of some sales tactics. I ask for the bottom line price and give only one chance for the dealer to make me happy. I got what I wanted and asked for from Al… Packer Ford WM. As soon as my wife walked into the showroom we were greeted by Blake D. who provided knowledgeable, professional, no-nonsense customer service. We were not subjected to the usual sales tactics by most dealerships we visited. They didn't have the exact vehicle that I wanted, but they search for it and found it quickly. I appreciate the effort of all involved. My wife bought a vehicle form Al Packer 15 years ago and she said it was nice to see that they have the same upfront and professional services that she experienced back then. Thank you Blake and thank you Al Packer Ford.Purchased a Raptor
by tracerheat on 05/08/2013updated 04/25/2025Went to the lot found 3 Raptors for sale - (most dealers have none). Arnold S., my salesman, was knowledgeable and professional. Absolutely no pressure. Test drove it and after thoughtful back and forth on pricing and options over the… course of about 5 days purchased the Raptor. I recommend Arnold S. if you go to Al Packer's Ford.Al Packer makes car buying a Breeze!
by LarrySevern on 05/28/2013updated 04/25/2025Al Packer makes an auto purchase a breeze. My wife and I were looking for a new vehicle to replace her 02 Camry we had looked at the Escapes and knew we wanted a 2012 with low miles. Packer had it. Great internet find. Excellent sales… service. Staff was helpful and attentive. No waiting around no hassle just good service. Our salesman Richard M. was knowledgeable and very helpful. All our questions were answered and the deal was as advertised. These folks know their Fords and there is no pressure and no bait and switch with the one car that is advertised at the low price but then try to up sell you to something you dont need or want. This was a painless car purchase. When it comes time for another vehicle well think Al Packer.Great sales team
by mdmilburne on 11/02/2012updated 04/25/2025Has an enjoyable truck buying experience on 10/31/12 when buying my new F350 from Al Packer Ford Baltimore. I would recommend this car dealer to anyone looking for a Ford product. Sales staff outstanding....Great Ford Store
by daviddobbins on 12/24/2012updated 04/25/2025Al Packer Ford was great! Huge inventory and great prices. Anthony Watson was great to deal with. No stress from him at all. Best experience I've ever had when buying a vehicle.F 250 purchase
by chrisc11 on 02/26/2013updated 04/25/2025I purchased a F 250 diesel crew cab two years ago from Al Packer Ford. The overall experience was pleasant, and the Saleman, Lance J., was courteous and helpful in getting me the truck I wanted in the price range I wanted to spend. I did… not necessarily intend on purchasing the truck the day I visited the lot, but Mr. J. gave me an offer I just couldn't refuse. There were no pressure tactics involved and I walked away feeling that both parties completed a good deal that left us feeling good.Easy Buying experience
by rumbayly on 02/28/2013updated 04/25/2025I did my homework, prepared to haggle. I came in with at least 7 different offers from a bunch of dealers, but we cut to the chase and bottom line Al Packer beat my best offer by over $700. Zach M., the sales person even met me at the train… to pick up my new car. I'm looking forward to being a customer for life.Excellent Dealership
by snapplejuggler on 05/01/2013updated 04/25/2025I bought my new Ford Escape from Al Packer's White Marsh Ford this afternoon. Everyone there was super helpful and nice. They made buying a new car a very enjoyable process. Our salesman, Arnold S., was extremely knowledgeable and was able… to answer all of our questions. He responded to all of our calls and e-mails quickly and was very helpful throughout the process.Customer Focused
by BaltoDriver on 07/03/2013updated 04/25/2025Was looking to replace an aging SUV with a sporty sedan. Went for a test drive. The salesman was very courteous and helpful and wanted to understand my needs without being pushy. We also looked at other possibilities in their broad… selection. Decided to purchase. The negotiation was smooth and a fair price obtained. The paperwork went exceptionally easy. Al Packer is definitely customer focused and willing to deliver value.Great Experience
by mhoshor on 05/09/2013updated 04/25/2025Just wanted to say that my experience with Al Packer Ford was very good. From the start to the finish they were very honest and straight forward and made a repeat customer of me when the time comes. I dealt with Blake D. in sales and he did… a nice job with evrything and followed through with everything. I would recommend them to both friends and family.Good follow thru
by egyft on 10/23/2013updated 04/25/2025I have purchased two vehicles from Al Packer. My sales rep, Arnold S., was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend the dealership and Arnold for your next purchase.2013 Ford Edge
by LittleLisa on 12/17/2012updated 04/25/2025After six months of shopping I finally purchased the Ford Edge. Anthony W. assisted in the sales and did an excellent job! In the past, I've dreaded purchasing a new vehicle due to pushy sales men, but not Anthony. He was patient,… informative, and extremely helpful. Al Packer had a huge selection of vehicles to choose from, and yet Anthony offered to help find the vehicle I was looking for if they didn't have it there. Great experience overall.
About our dealership
I wish I had seen your review before I went - they id the same thing to me and I can't seem to get a phone number or contact information for the ownership. This is so horrible - my daughters first real car experience and she is going to end up paying so much more for this car because it as late and we signed the contract but I did not realize until I got home that it did not add up right.
