    I just got my second Toyota from DCH and I will never go anywhere else. From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel special. My salesman Mike G. was very friendly and knowledgeable. The general manager- Lee Burns- made me feel like family. No high pressure situations here, just high quality business.

    If you are looking for a decent price car for a decent price. Do not come here. Worst ever!! Sales was pushy and aggressive would not budge on sticker price. At a time of a recession, everyone is out trying to save, but these guys just want you to pay what they want. Again DO NOT COME HERE!! Worst sales staff I have ever seen!!
    • What kind of car are you looking for, because when I went there to buy a 2010 Prius they were actually looking to charge me over sticker!!

  • Not too bad... for a car dealership

    Bought both a Subaru Outback (when DCH sold Subaru) and a Tacoma. In both cases DCH gave me the best price without too much hassle. Both deals were for the most part completed through email, which saved me a lot of time running around putting up with the usual sales bs. The only thing I still wonder about is that even though they beat all the other dealers (I was working 5 other dealers on the Tacoma) I'm still not sure they went as low as they could go. Still a good price for the truck though. They do have a few sales people there that I could live without having had the opportunity of meeting, but after I got away from them things were much better. The girl in the financing department was excellent. Service has always been pretty decent. I do most of my own work, but when in a pinch I will use them for oil changes and such. They want you to make an appointment for service, but more than once I've stopped in on a Saturday morning unannounced and they've gone out of their way to get me in. All in all it's one of the better dealerships I've worked with.

    Acted like I was doing them a favor to visit their dealership. I was shown a brochure and given a brief tour of the vehicle. There wasn't much interest shown by the salesman. [violative content deleted] Their "deal" is take it or leave it.

  • Very Pleasant Experience

    This is the second car I have purchased at DCH. This time I bought Prius. I worked with Ahmad Lahlouh and Heather Schraud as my sales people. They were both very easy to work and I actually enjoyed the experience (which is not usual for me when buying a car). Another unusual part of the experience was working with their sales manager. Usually I find that part of the buying experience the most unnerving. The sales manager controls the pricing and I often find that I feel like I am doing battle by proxy. Not so during this transaction for two reasons. First, they were very up-front with where the price was comming from (very refreshing feeling). Second, we got a good price right off the bat (I had done my research ahead of time) and I never felt like anyone was playing games with me. While the price of the car was very good, it was the the fact that DCH responded so well to my goals and desire to get all cards on the table early on that made the experience an exceptional one.

    Michael Gruen was my salesman, selling me a 2008 Prius. He was attentive, gracious, informative, helpful and all together wonderful to deal with. The car arrived when he said it would. He went through all of the features methodically and clearly. He called a few days after I took delivery to make sure all was in order. It was. I highly recommend the dealership and the salesman.     We had a very pleasing experience when purchasing our FJ at DCH. I believe the salespersons name was Kristin, and she was courteous, professional, and seemed respectful of any decision we were going to make. I was also pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable she was about the product. We are planning to return once our lease is up. Scott

    My sales representative Evan O'Brien was great, he took the time to show me everything about the car I was interested in. He showed me the car inside and outside, test drove it, and he also showed me other colors to make sure this is what I wanted. This is the first time I went into a dealership and they didn't try to sell me something else. I was very please with this dealership, Mr. O'Brien, general managers, and financial manager. This is the best place to go if your looking to purchase a car. Evan was very knowledgable and took the time to make sure I was pleased and I picked up the car the next day. He even showed me around to the service area so I would know where it is whenever I need to get my car serviced. I was very pleased with everyone there starting with the receptionist, Evan O'Brien, George, and the financial manager.

    Last month, I needed to get a new car. Toyota has always been the car that has given me the best for my money. When I visited this dealership (recommended by a friend) I met Evan O'Brien. He supported me from moment one in making the best decision possible. He took me around the dealership and allowed me the time to look at all the cars as he was explaining to me the pluses and the minuses of them all. Once I decided on my Toyota Corolla S, he made sure that I understood the process of finanacing a new car. I am very thankful for the services and understanding given to me by all the people at this dealershipo!!!!!

    I recently bought a used 2007 Toyota Corolla from DCH Wappinger Falls Toyota and I had a good experience. The salesman was knowledge and not pushy like many other salesman I have encountered. He spent a considerable amount of time me with and made sure that I was informed and comfortable during the entire process. I would refer someone to DCH Wappinger Falls Toyota as a result of my positive experience.

    These review/rating boards don't work if people don't contribute and I've done my share of reading so here's my contribution. This dealership isn't worth your time. The sales people and sales manager are pushy and unless you're going to buy the day you walk in, they don't want to spend any time with you. I believe I knew more about the vehicle I was looking at more than my sales person did (he was new, so I cut him a break). I test drove the Highlander and when I went back into the dealership, they asked me to put a deposit down right then. They'll make you wait why they print out quotes for you and their inventory is limited, so they'll push you to buy what they have. The deals aren't that good either and they don't seem willing to negotiate. I believe they're using Toyota's superior reliability too much and need to be more flexible. To me a 30k+ vehicle is considered a luxury vehicle and the vehicle and service should reflect that. I didn't get that feeling from this dealership. While at this dealership, I saw another couple snap at a sales person for something. To me that's not a good sign. I went to this dealership because of proximity to my home, but I think it's worth a trip to the hundreds of other dealerships in my area...Toyota or not. Good luck to all.

  • A horror Show

    DCH Stands for Dont' Come Here. Dealership showroom is a circus. High pressure from sales manager. Inventory is limited and they try to force you to take what they have. I didn't walk out, I ran out as fast as possible.

    I had purchased two new vehicles from DCH in the past and was looking for a new Prius last week. I utilize a car buying service provided through my bank and received three quotes from distant dealerships. I sent an email to the internet sales department at DCH and got a return email on the purchase price of the Prius back within 15 minutes, the price was inline with the lowest price I received fromt the car buying service right from the start. Through a series of emails I was able to confirm they had the vehicle I was looking for in stock, got the purchase price and warranty price quoted and applied and recieved the 0% 60 month financing within a few hours time without even entering the dealership. I then scheduled an appointment with DCH for the next morning where I was greeted by the Sales Manager who introduced me to Mike G., my salesman, who had all the quoted info and had arranged for me to test drive my desired car. While test driving the car, Mike G. explained all my options and actually provided me with information that got me to change my car from the normal Prius to the Plug In Prius after showing me the factory rebate, additional gas milage and other tax savings credits. I finalized the deal and came back 3 hours later to the car detailed and ready to roll. Mike G. walked me through all aspects of the car and setup all of my radio and phone settings before I rolled off the lot. I am normally skeptical about the cars sales business but I can say Mike G. and the rest of the staff at DCH made my Prius purchase fast and easy. I highly recommend DCH Toyota! And after driving my Prius Plug In for the last 3 days over 400 miles with 56 MPG, I highly recommend them as well!

    Went to purchase a car from this dealer and they began speaking of a totally different style. Never the car we were talking about, when questioned them they began saying many different things. Wouldn't trust this dealer at all, be careful they don't switch a car on you.

    When I visit the show room the Sales Person told me that I should buy the vehicle from DCH because they were the Biggest Baddest Dealer in the empire state and would beat any price from any other dealer. I looked at the vehilces and they didn't have the color I wanted. He gave me the hassle free price and told me he would call me when he got the color vehicle I wanted then sent me on my way. I looked on-line to see if I can find a dealer with the color vehicle I wanted and found one at another local dealer and e-mailed them. Well, I got a call back from DCH and the sales person said that I was in luck because they were having a sale. When I went to visit the showroom agian the sales person then gave me the sales manager who gave me 2 coupons for $500 and some other discounts based on 'this, this and that' then gave me a 1-2-3 sales pitch. The dealer still didn't have the color I wanted but assured me one was on its way, and oh, did I mention that unless I acted right away the 'coupons would go to someone else'. So I went home and thought about it and since it was a pretty good deal, I decided to call back and put a down payment as long as I got the vehicle as soon it came in and they got it ready. well, the other dealer contacted me and I informed them they were too late, I was going with DCH. They asked what the deal was and they said they would beat it by $1000 and can come pick the vehicle soon as I wanted. I called DCH back the next day and to my suprise my salesperson was off, I spoke to the salesmanager and he said my vehicle came in but it may not be ready because they were very busy. Why didn't my salesperson make sure that he complete my deal or at least make sure someone else did??. Unheard of when you are trying to earn my business. I told the sales manager about the other dealer and he didn't believe me and asked for proof. I thought that was a joke at first, but then figured he would match the price. So I gave him the 'proof'. Well he didn't match the price. Thats right, the best dealer in the empire state would not match the price of another dealership.Instead he was hurt and offended. Unbelivable!! I got the service from another dealership that I was expecting. Very weak from DCH.

    This is the third car I have purchased at DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota and it was, again, a smooth and easy process. Melissa S. was great - I was very specific about what I wanted and was able to locate the right car and get it there earlier than I originally had planned.

    Salesman Scott D. helpful, agreed to help with a scuff on Prius car after I purchased it. Tried his best to help with transferring my contact list from my cell phone into the car (to do it with 1 file transfer). He wasn't sure how to do this, and the owner's manual doesn't explain how to do this. Hence, given these issues I strongly recommend going to the new owners class, as there are so many features it can be a lot to learn at once. Taking a Prius out for a test drive is not enough time to learn all the functions. Scott was friendly and helpful.

    My experience in trading in my old car with a new upgrade vehicle yesterday was excellent. I researched the trade in value for my old car prior to visiting DCH but was offered a higher value by DCH. Sales rep M. S. was most helpful in making my purchasing experience efficient. I just hope that in the future, there would be less paperwork.

    I just purchased a new 2013 Toyota RAV4 from DCH Wapp Falls and had a great experience. I love the car and my salesperson Robert S. truly made the experience awesome - no hassles and he took care of everything!!! He's the best!!
  • 2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

    My wife and I had a great experience with this dealer. I looked at their web site and noticed a Certified Highlander Hybrid that would be perfect for my wife but she was on a business trip. I went to the dealer to check it out. A sales consultant, Bobby Pucher, was very helpful and he showed me all the features of the Highlander and worked up the numbers for me, including a very fair price for my trade-in. No pressure at all. The next day I went back with my wife. Another sales consultant, Mary Snoek, came over to explain all the features to my wife and have her take a test drive. Bobby was on vacation so Mary took care of us and all the paperwork. Both Bobby and Mary were very professional and friendly and made this car buying experience pleasant and hassle-free.
