by kk6872kk on 02/22/2016My first experience in showroom and it was worst. There is this guy called Jeremy who has ZERO respect for his customers and talks as if he is right always. Never deal with this guy. He told he can try to fight for the price he quoted and… bombarded me to buy a car within the next few hours. When I told him I need time to decide he started to disrespect me and strong armed me into buying the same day. Finally he accepted to give me time and asked me to come back the next day. The next day they increased their price by 1k than that they quoted and challenged me to find a better deal. I was offered a deal that was 1k higher than what the same guy quoted the previous day and told he missed a few things in his last quote "By MISTAKE" and told that "EVEN YOU MAKE MISTAKE". Who the **** he is to judge me. When the issue went to the Manager Michael DeSantis, he spoke with arrogance and literally cursed me that if I don't buy there I might end up buying somewhere else for higher price. His reaction was shocking and I really feel betrayed by the experience as it was supposed to be my first car. NEVER GO TO DICK's HONDA. by mwack33 on 10/29/2015I was referred over to the Honda shop by Dick's Ford store. I wanted to get out of a Ford Lease early and they really did their very best to help me out. I still had to own up to the negative equity situation, but I feel they gave me a… good trade price and new purchase price. All the while I dealt with the Alex Rowe who is a phenomenally nice guy and knew a lot about his product. We actually had fun together as we waited during various parts of the process! Oh, and I loved how they had The Message already tuned in on my XM radio!New CRV

If you come in knowing value of both the new auto and the trade in value of your existing car, and you have done online shopping to know what… other dealers charge, you will walk away feeling great about your purchase. The entire team we worked with was helpful and there was never any sense of pressure.Poor Quality Assessment of Used Cars
by Pramman on 07/11/2015We had a nice enough experience with buying the car from Dicks, however, after we got the car is when Dick's Honda showed their true color as a group of people that do not care about the customer AT ALL! We bought a used Honda Odyssey and… within the first few days the AC had issues, I talked to Gary and he "setup an appt" for me to get it checked out. Well, I get to Dick's Honda and Gary pawned me off on Alex, who then pawned me off on someone else who then TRIED TO SELL ME A CAR! I setup an appt for checking out the car and instead they tried to just sell me a new car! WHAT A JOKE! Then less then a week later we are on a road trip to Utah and stopped in Boise. Well, on the way THE AC QUIT! I took it into a Meineke and they said the A/C compressor was dying/almost dead and any dealership should have actually caught this and REPAIRED IT BEFORE EVER SELLING! It is going to cost me between $500 (replace A/C compressor only) to $1800 (to replace the whole A/C system). I will NEVER do business with Dick's Auto Group EVER AGAIN! What a huge waste of time and money. I hope others will read this and go elsewhere, Dick's Auto Group is not your friend after you buy a car from them, [non-permissible content removed]!Excellent experience

As my daughter is relocating to Portland Or from our home in New York, he corresponded with us via email and phone about the car and lease.He was a pleasure to… deal with both remotely and in person. He even picked us up from the train station! Dicks Hillsboro Honda leased us the best car for the best price. Thanks TheExcellent Experience

He showed us all the options he had as per our budget and gave good… suggestions. He helped us to find our dream car Honda civic and we were really pleased to buy it at negotiated price. All the documentation was very very simple and even the Number plate was given along with the vehicle. This makes our job very simple. I worked with Alex, my sales representative, and he was great. He was fun, energetic, knowledgeable… and helpful. He did all that I asked, and more. When Chris, the Sales Manager, became involved, it was more of the same. He worked hard to develop an offer that I was happy with, and I leased the new CRV with them. I have never had a better car shopping experience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a new car.Long Distance Purchase

Everything was initiated using their internet sales department. The whole process was such an awesome experience, no games, no… hassles everything handled in the most professional manner. We were totally impressed with the pricing, the handling of the paperwork and especially impressed with the presentation of the Civic to my daughter, who had no clue we had purchased her a new car. My sincerest "Thank You" goes to Sonya Backman, Brian Clark and Mandi DeHaven who handled everything over email and texts, we couldn't have accomplished our graduation gift to our daughter without all their assistance. Dick's Honda gave me the best price after comparing several Honda dealers. The bargain process wasn't very happy. However, I… still get a car in a decent price which is in the range of my budget. What can you ask more? Highly recommend this dealer if you know what you need.Great car dealer!

I wanted a dealer close to me. I live in Hillsboro. I went to Dick's since it was… local. ONLY for a test drive, BUT I ended up buying a 2015 CR-V that same day. I received great attention from the salesman: Carter Hutchison. I also to meet the manager: Rick Johnson. They got me a great deal on my new CR-V and a generous trade-in for my 2001 Honda Civic. Thank you Dick's Hillsboro Honda. I'll be bringing all my business here and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dealer!New car!

I looked at a few options (already did my research and knew I wanted the Honda Fit), was very knowledgable and answered all my questions - got me in and out quick. Bought the car and… drove it off the lot, and they all stayed after closing to finish the deal. Got a call a few days later and they were able to get a better interest rate. Good stuff. by audreyafaber on 02/06/2015This was the first car I ever purchased, and Adam Dahly made the whole process so much less stressful than I had anticipated. He greeted us quickly as soon as we came in, and since the car I was interested in was out for a test drive, he… sat and talked with us. When it became apparent there was a chance the person out on the test drive was going to purchase the car, Adam worked very quickly to make sure I could purchase it first. He was exceptionally helpful and friendly - I absolutely plan to go back and see him for my next car, and would send anyone I knew to him, whether they were looking for a used car or a new one. I would especially encourage someone who was knew to the process or uneasy about buying a car to see Adam - he made sure I understood everything and never once made me feel like I was being pushed or taken advantage of. The price on the car itself was fantastic, and far below the KBB value of the car. It was in wonderful condition, and I couldn't be happier with it. The only thing that was less than great about the process was the brief time with the business/finance person Billie Jo Kidder. I was purchasing the car outright, so the process was very quick. However, she tried to sell me additional things and talked so fast that half the time I had no idea what she was talking about - but, what was very apparent was her condescension towards me when I said I wasn't interested. I found her rude and very off-putting. Luckily, Adam had gone over everything that would be discussed in the business office in advance, so I was prepared. Regardless of the bad experience in the business office, I would still recommend the dealership solely because of the service I received from Adam. He made the whole process a breeze.Very good car buying experience.
by glitch1 on 02/03/2015I have purchased from Hillsboro Honda back when it was Larry Miller Honda. Back then, it started as a decent experience, but the sales pressure became unbearable when they started playing games, pretending the finance manager was busy while… salesmen tried to sell me stuff I didn't want while we were waiting. This time, with the new team at Dick's Honda, the experience was excellent and painless. I initially dealt with Sonja Backman over the Internet. I received a price for the Civic 4dr LX sedan at a price that was significantly better than the other dealers. I went in a couple days later, and bought the car. The salesman, TJ Fernando, was very knowledgeable and courteous and patient with our questions. He offered some options that we declined, and he did not pressure us. We then dealt with Billie Jo Kidder, the finance manager, who was very friendly and got us through the payment and paperwork process painlessly. Overall, we were in and out in about 2 hours, which included a test drive. Dick's Honda will add mud guards and door edge guard to all their vehicles. They are fine options, but the price was a little high. But I was prepared for that going in and made sure I was still happy with the price with a few extra hundred dollars tacked in for these relatively low-value options. So just be sure you prepared for that.Best deal in Oregon from my experience!

We were limited in time and was able to take the car home and he came by our house in the afternoon to… finish the paperwork. He even came in on his day off to help us complete the sale. She has a 2011 Camry and has decided to leave it with us while she travels, she is retired and still young enough that travelling is enjoyable. The tags expired on her car,… and instead of transferring the Title to Oregon, she suggested that we sell it or trade it in for a new car. I took a look at the Costco program, since it has been a long time since I bought a new vehicle. I was impressed with the cost structure and decided that this is the route that I would take. Having a 1991 Accord that we put 260K miles on and a 2007 Acura TL with 140K miles, I knew the Honda/Acura line better than Toyota, so decided to look at the recent offerings. After meeting with the Honda and Acura sales representatives, we actually had better customer service and rapport with the Honda Sales Rep, Thanooj Fernando. He took his time to explain the Costco program and let us ask questions. He not only knew his product, but he did a great job representing the Costco program. After dealing with the two dealerships, I hope that Dicks decides to open an Acura dealership, as I think that they would do a wonderful job. I have heard good things about Dicks Hillsboro Honda from my co-workers, this experience reinforces first hand what they were saying. I look forward to doing more business with them.Ethics like most dealers.
by pmpetersen on 10/11/2014My Costco Sales rep Vince was excellent and very helpful. However I am not impressed with the ethics of the Sales manager and finance paperwork folks. Tactics of trying to tack add on after the deal has been agreed to is beyond… frustrating. I have only purchased from one dealer in 28 years of car buying that did not try this nonsense. However when doing financing for a youthful friends first purchase they tried to saddle him with an unreasonable interest rate because he had no credit. Thank God my wife was with him to save him. There is plenty of money to be made in car sales without exploiting new college graduates already burdened with student loans. They did the right thing when She set them straight. Don't buy a car alone at any dealer.Great Customer Service

by apme123 on 07/28/2014The car buying experiance went as smooth as butter. We had sent in a price quote request for a 2014 CR-V. No more then 10 minutes went by as we were contacted by Mary. She found the exact vehicle we were looking for and included all of the… pricing information in her email. We stopped by the dealership the same day, and one of her assistants Dimitry helped us out. He explained all of the options and features on the vehicle and took us for a scenic test drive. Pricing and paperwork were a breeze as all I had to do was bring in the emailed price quote. This was the best and easiest car purchase ever, and the service was top notch. I would not hesitate to buy another Honda from this store.Not even worth a star -absolutely lives to its name
by rachael7 on 07/04/2014This is typical dealer which makes you hate even the new car buying experience to the ultimate limit . The Dealer has tie up with some credit unions and try to promote that instead of advertised low rates by Honda finance and forces… customers to take from his preferred credit union where probably gets a kickback and gets additional $$$ out of the deal . Once the car is out of the door the behavior towards the same customer changes drastically. The finance is extremely rude . Got good APR rates from other Honest Honda dealers through Honda finance but was unfortunately late and felt cheated here by the dealer forcing me to sign up for higher rates and mentioning that Honda rejected my lower APR rate . Worst the dealer ran a credit check without my permission and is not at all transparent . Be Careful in getting lured with lower prices as they will charge you higher APR and you may end up eventually paying more
