My mother's 2006 Jeep Liberty Limited 4x4 that we purchased at Carmax was experiencing a multitude of problems earlier this month. We had taken the truck to 2… Chattanooga repair shops and they were unable to perform the repairs. Luckily, we had purchased an extended warranty. I called Crown one evening around closing time and got Jeff on the line. He was so nice and very eager to help my Mom and me. He arranged to have the truck towed to his shop and even got Enterprise to provide us with a rental while the repairs were done. He spent a great deal of time haggling with our Service Contract company and essentially had all of the problems plaguing the Jeep fixed and left us with owing just a small deductible. He kept us up-to-date every day with what was going on. I have never had a more pleasurable experience with ANY service department as I did with Crown CDJ and Mr. Jeff M. Thanks, y'all. I had my mind set on 2 vehicles. After test driving I decided on the Unlimited Jeep. Harold then… had to tell me that the Jeep I drove , had been traded to another dealer. I was ready to call it a day when Harold stopped me and wanted to show me 2 other Jeeps. Thanks Harold for working hard for me and your honesty. I think I met everyone at Crown from the General mgr. Larry to the Service Advisors. Crowns customer service is first class. Also thanks Larry for calling J R the finance mgr. J R had just left for the evening. Crossfire that Hang Fired
by bienhoababy on 05/24/2013updated 04/29/2025My 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 went into total shutdown (power and gasoline) due to a malfunctioning Auto-Theft system. Given that the Crossfire model has been out of production for several years and it is a hybrid manufactured vehicle… with mostly Mercedes-Benz parts (engine & transmission) it took a real Sherlock Holmes to track down the culprit. Fortunately, Jeff M. told me that Crown Chrysler had a local Crossfire authority at the dealership and Crown maintained a good working relationship with the Mercedes-Benz dealership in town. They were able to find the problem, overnighted the parts from out of State and got to work on her. Jeff stayed in constant contact with me, even when the news was less than good. Without taking any shortcuts Jeff ended up saving me several hundred dollars and somehow, a free programmed key. This could have been worse. A lot worse. Electrical problems on sophisticated vehicles could easily run thousands of dollars and there were plenty of opportunities for "less reputable" dealers to pad the bill and I never would have known it. But now I have my SRT6 back on the road running better than ever. Thanks Jeff!!Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We were not sure what kind of suv we wanted so Terry showed us several cars and we test drove a couple to see how we liked them. We decided on a Jeep Compass, we… liked the size, price, options and it's mpg but Crown did not have one with all the optional features we wanted. After making our decision, Terry was able to find a car meeting our requirements and had it delivered to his company the next day for us to pick it up. We do have one issue with the new car but it was not with Terry and hopefully will be resolved soon since I spoke with a Chrysler representative today while at Crown checking on the problem. Since it was busy and we were there a while my 10 yr old son got hungry. John made him a sandwich and got him… a drink. We discovered that the start push button was missing and we didn't have the second key. He made sure that both were taken care of. The only dislike I have with the experience is that John said they owed me a detail on the vehicle since the weather was really bad out. He asked me to bring it back the next weekend. Well we brought t back ad waited for almost 2 hours for the detail. When we got Trailhawk it look like it had been driven through a car wash. It was dripping with soap, it still had dirt on it in several areas, the sticker glue is still on the windows, and the inside wasn't cleaned (wasn't really dirty though).Congratulations on your new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted, I was taken straight to the car I wanted, got a test drive, talked numbers, and drove home with a new car! I wasn't… treated like I was ignorant, and the entire staff (all the way up to the GM) made sure I was taken care of. I could not ask for a better group of people. I recommend everyone regardless of your love for a particular brand to go see these folks. I feel great knowing that honest, caring, and very hard-working people got my business.
