I recently had the pleasure of working with James Brown, a car salesman at McDavid's Honda of Frisco, and I cannot recommend him enough! In my many years of buying cars, I have never met a salesperson as knowledgeable and dedicated as… James. He took the time to walk me through all the available options, helping me find the perfect vehicle to meet my specific goals. His expertise and patience made the entire process seamless, from selecting the right model to walking me through the final paperwork. James truly went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth, stress-free experience. If you're considering a new Honda, trust me, you want to ask for James Brown, he'll make your car-buying experience exceptional!

A superior buying experience
by thebean on 12/15/2014I purchased a 2015 Accord EX from McDavid Honda. I've bought a lot of cars over my adulthood, and this was the best experience I have had. No pressure, no questionable tactics, no bait & switch, and no hard-sell in the finance office. My… two salesmen (Hung & Stephen) were knowledgeable and provided just the type of test drives and sales experience I wanted. Then, when I was ready to make the deal, Michael (an asst sales mgr) treated me respectfully and gave me a great deal. I had come to hate buying a car because of the normal process - "you need to buy right now", "let me talk to my manager", etc. None of this was present at McDavid Honda. I told them up front how I wanted to negotiate a deal and they stuck to that. My car was the only one they had with the options and color I wanted. But, they never used that to try to pressure me to buy before I was ready. When I had tried to buy a Camry a few weeks before at a local Toyota dealer, there was nothing but pressure tactics and they even showed me a car (and I test drove it) that had already been sold. They didn't have any more in this color, so they tried to get me to negotiate/commit on one that they would have to get from another dealer. No, no, no. At McDavid, when I got to the finance office to sign all the papers, I was prepared for the normal high-pressure pitch for add-ons. But, it didn't happen, thankfully. She explained all of the different options for extended warranty and maintenance that I could purchase, and gave me the advantages of each one, but never tried to pressure me. I will definitely tell all my friends about this great experience. I am so happy with my new Accord, because it was a stress-free experience purchasing it. I had decided that I would never go through another sales experience as with the local Toyota dealer. Thankfully, McDavid Honda was there to sell me my Accord. The best car buying experience I've ever had

They went over and beyond to help us leave with exactly what we wanted. Sharouz Shakouri, our Sales… Constant, was just plain awesome. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. He went through a thorough description of the vehicle we were interested in, and addressed every need we had with a new vehicle. He was so friendly and had a wonderful personality. Even the management gave us a full understanding of every part of the numbers process. Lih in Finance was amazing. Very personable and was geniunely excited for our purchase. Sharouz has even checked in with us a couple of times since our purchase just to make sure everything is okay and how we are enjoying our new vehicle. 5 star service from this dealership, and I will refer anyone and everyone to make their vehicle purchases here. Installed Running Boards

He said that I should talk with Julian in service. Julian explained my options, and gave me a price on my… selection. He said to allow 2 hours and call first to make sure that they are in stock. I called about an hour later and asked if I could get it done that day. He checked inventory and said I could bring it in. In less than an hour, the work was complete, and my Pilot washed and ready to go. I couldn't have been treated better by Julian. Great job!Great Experience Buying a Used Car

My Memorable Experience at David McDavid Honda of Frisco

My experience with David McDavid Honda of Frisco eliminated all of those preconceived notions. I chose to research Honda as my vehicle of choice due to its… vast reliability and numerous safety features. I chose to purchase a 2014 Honda Civic EX. My family's experience with David McDavid of Honda during the financial proceedings of purchasing this car could be characterized as superb. I do not believe that a company such as Honda deserves any form of negative feedback; its customer service is impeccable, but none of this would have been possible without a certain individual, Sharouz Shakouri. Webster's dictionary defines superlative as of the highest kind, quality, or order; surpassing all else or others, supreme. I would define superlative as, Mr. Shakouri. This gentleman is of the the highest kind, quality, and order. This particular vehicle was the first vehicle I have ever owned, and being able to share this profound experience with a man such as Mr. Shakouri heightened the experience to a greater level. New Accord Purchase

Excellent Service
by ypmurg on 08/20/2014My 2005 Accord hybrid has been serviced by DMD since I bought it in 2008. Mike M. is my service adviser. He is very knowledgeable about the hybrid model. All recommended service procedures have been performed at the appropriate mileage and… as a result of the expertise of the service department technicians and Mr. M., the car is running like new. All work was completed on time at the quoted price and a loaner car was available on request. I highly recommend the DMD service department.Lexx and Bob were Great on our 2014 Pilot Lease
by jimbo96 on 08/20/2014Lexx had been trading some e-mails with me over the last few months, when we finally decided a Pilot could work for us. My wife went over to the dealership while I was out of town and they put together a great lease deal for us on an EX… Pilot with 4WD and the trailering package which is something we need for our Boy Scout troop. They didn't have one in stock, but they were able to find a 2014 in my wife's first color pick. Bob went and got it since Lexx was on a well deserved vacation and helped us with the paperwork on the night that we took delivery. I have another lease on a vehicle expiring in May 2015 so I told him that I would give him a chance for the business on that as well. Honda has some really good deals on leases right now and Lexx and Bob know how to get us the best deal for our situation on a 36 month lease with the extra miles that we need for one to work in our situation. I knew exactly what I wanted and they were always… up front and honest to work with me on what they could and could not do. I drove an hour to get to the dealership from where I live and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was not pressured nor up-sold on anything that did not make sense. They were honest when they showed me a feature (understanding my situation) and said, "you don't need this feature". I appreciate a dealer who truly looks out for the best deal for their customer.
