    We had the best car buying experience at Hendricks, and owe it all to George. After a dozen bad experiences at other dealerships, we found what we needed in a used car for our teenager. George called, texted and emailed every answer to our… many questions as if we were buying a new car. Never before have we been treated this well. The inspection and minor items were fixed on time and every day we received an update via phone as to the cars progress. If you need a new or used car, Hendricks is the place…and George is the person to ask for!!

    If you like having to come back here multiple times for a simple service visit I would recommend this dealership. Staff gets an attitude when I return because THEY didn’t fix the issue the first time. Come on Mr. Saab, get it together!!

    I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Ricardo. My daughter’s VW GTI was totaled on a Friday and Ricardo helped me to purchase within 24 hours of her accident a new Tiguan. He did this across state lines as I live in Wisconsin… and my daughter lives in Waco. In a sentence, “Ricardo answers to God”. He treated me with utmost love, care and respect. He also sacrificed his needs for the needs of my daughter. Please ask for him and you will not be disappointed.

    I went specifically for an oil change and figured I would get a couple of things looked at while I was there. I told the rep that the other things were not as important as the oil change. I waited 8 hours for them to advise me my car was… ready to pick up and they never performed the oil change. When I called back to inquire they stated I hadn’t mentioned an oil change when I took my car in. They straight up lied to me that they had no notes of this since I had already spoken to someone else and they confirmed it appeared on the notes but not on the receipt. I will never bring my car here again.

    Took in my wife’s CPO 2017 Tiguan on May 8, 2021 for an oil change and for them to look at the roof visor that stopped working. Not being aware of the fact that her car was a Certified pre owned I was told if would cost 170 dollars just to… diagnose the issue with the visor. I reluctantly agreed and about 20 minutes later I told them to stop as I changed my mind. They tried to charge me 85 dollars just for their 15-20 minutes of “work”. I said i will not pay that and just do the oil change. When the oil change was done I was told my my service advisor Josh Cienfuegos that “FYI since the vehicle is a certified pre owned you would not be charged the 170 dollar Diagnostic fee and also you would only be responsible for a 50 dollar deductible if you would have not changed your mind!!! I don’t get much time to come to the dealership but that was a total waste of time as my intention was to get it fixed but for whatever reason (dishonesty, just not knowing any better) I don’t get Done what I needed to. He offered no apology as he was probably “hurt” that i didn’t let him scam me. How hard is it to look at that information before giving a quote??? I had issues with them last year when I took the car in for an oil change as well. Makes me want to look back at the invoice and see if they overcharged me then. Total joke and again no apology or nothing/ he just said it very casually. Wouldn’t recommend going here. Waste of time and overpriced vehicles and of course they try and pull a fast one on you.

    the service department was very busy at 715 am, Philip was with a customer , but took the time to say he would be right with me , as soon as he finished with customer he came and found me and wrote a sevice ticket quickly, I asked him to… look at my sevice policy to be clear what coverage I had, he also took time to look at contract to see I had a 60000 parts contract , out of 4 other services no other service advisor had done this in the past , his imnspections , completed a full service of my 2019 VW Tiguan, The best service I have ever had , of all the oil changes I have had done, thank you for Philip Van Tuyl

    First time VW customer and I have to say I am more than satisfied. Ricardo Bolanos is simply the best! He was straight forward about everything, and layed out all of my options with absolutely no hassle. He went above and beyond helping me… find the perfect car for our growing family with the comfort we needed. Furthermore, Ricardo made sure I loved the car before signing the dotted line and gave me plenty of time to get acquainted with the vehicle. Reviews of Hendrick VW are accurate when they say this is a family oriented dealership. They are hands down that plus some! Thank you again Ricardo! You’ve made this the easiest car buying experience

    3 years ago I met David while looking for a new vehicle. I wasn’t interested in what VW offered but soon referred my daughter and then husband to David. Both bought and have been more than pleased with choices. I recently was ready to trade… and met with David once again and this time I bought a Tiguan. He was patient and very informative of options and with no pressure he left me to make decision. I called later in the day and moved forward. He is honest and patient. RARE quality. I highly recommend if you are looking, to at least meet with him and see what he offers.

He went the extra mile to ensure our paperwork was ready first thing Saturday so we could… avoid the dreaded finance wait times and he ensured we had all of the education available about the vehicle! We love our new SUV. Go see David, you’ll be glad you did!!

    I just want to say Thank you to George Strong for going out his way to make sure my deal got done . I was pretty sure they weren’t gonna be able to get me out of my trade . Well i guessed wrong . His customer service is unmatched and i… appreciate it . He didn’t rush me even though i can close to close . He stayed till almost 10:00 to make sure the deal got done .     I had to take my Tiguan in for service and was blessed to get Josh C as my service agent. Not only was Josh extremely respectful, polite and accommodating but he went above and beyond to make sure my experience was great. My car was getting… repaired for about three weeks and Josh made sure that I received a loaner car and updated me on everything regarding the status of my car. I never felt out of the loop or like I didn’t know what was going on with my car. In addition, the day before my car was ready to take home, Josh got word of a part being recalled in my car and took the initiative to fix the recalled part before I even received the notice In the mail. He saved so much frustration, time and energy, I can’t thank him enough.

    It was a mistake to purchase my car from Hendricks! What is the point of scheduling a time and date for a service if they can’t get it completed in a timely manner! I scheduled a service for 4pm. It’s now 5:35 and my car has still not been… taken in to be worked on. Horrible service - never coming back

  • BUYER BEWARE: This dealer engages in Auto lease fraud.

    I took on a lease for a 2020 Tiguan R Line Black SE ($33000) in mid February. I worked with John Hicks. I would not recommend this salesman or dealer to anyone. This dealer completely scammed me. I ended up paying around $100/month more… than I should be. I know because a week later I found the same exact car at McKinney Volkswagen and gave them a call. Turns out Hendrick charged me 5% more or $4800 more on my lease. My money factor was .00337 which is absolutely absurd. McKinney Volkswagen quotes me at .00125 which is very good. During the negotiating process I asked for the 2020 Tiguan SEL premium R line to be quoted to me as well. I had my one year old with me so I was chasing her around and couldn’t really pay close attention. John Hicks did a bait and switch on me and represented the numbers for the 2020 Tiguan R Line Black as the 2020 Tiguan SEL Premium R Line ($38000). At the time I trusted the numbers were right. So I did the deal. Obviously I was scammed. Most of these reviews on here are completely fake or paid. Trust me, if you are doing a lease with this dealer you are likely being scammed. Make sure you call the Lewisville and McKinney dealer first, they will give you the money factor and lease deal over the phone. This will ensure you are getting a good deal and not being duped or bait and switched. I tried rectifying the situation with the dealer and spoke with the sales manager Kevin Hatfield. He acted like he was going to help me and ghosted me completely. After about a month of me following up, he responded and said he couldn’t help me. I am dead to them. They already got me to sign and they think I’m am a sucker. I will be reporting this dealer to the BBB, FTC, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and retaining an Auto Fraud lawyer. I advise anyone looking to purchase or lease at this dealer to go elsewhere.

    This dealer sold us a lemon, will not take any responsibility for the total loss, then put us into another car with all the negative equity rolled into it and that one was supposedly new and no accidents but the door has been replaced -… verified by another VW dealer. Overspray and forgot to insulate door. Horrible dealer. Very deceitful and shady.

    Recently divorced and just at the point of completely giving up on my search to getting back on track... Nick went above and beyond ways possible to make my deal happen.. calls to the lenders w/ his financial team... copies of additional… details needed...calls to me of staying encouraged and hopeful.. definitely did not let me down...start to finish...to us celebrating me taking ownership of my first choice... I truly thank Nick and the Hendricks Sales/ Finance team members for working diligently in my situation of taking a chance and giving me a break when I heard so many.. No(s)....
