Fantastic Experience

I contacted Mack Haik Chevrolet in desperate need for a car. I spoke with Mr Wolfe and Horace Manual who asked me what I was looking for and to come into the dealership to see. They took excellent care of me. The process was much faster… than I anticipated and I left that day with my new car! Best experience ever.

Pleased but disappointed
by c_lady on 10/15/2014I was disappointed with this visit. I spent $1,800.00 and my car came out to me DIRTY. Usually after having my car serviced it is washed. This is very petty but I am not used to this kind of service. There are several other small… things that disappointed me. This has no reflection on the service advisor. I know that the only way I can get service the way I received it from Dan Switalski is to change dealerships and I am not sure that I want to do this at this time.Service Review

by Bobto4thpower on 09/28/2014Arriving at 0700 to schedule Oil & filter change was better than a 2 hour wait on Saturday. Total time as about 30-45 minutes or less as I has lost time. Looked outside and service tech was walking inside with keys. This was type of service… you expect from Mac Haik Quicklube. Is Digital Air Strike a room full of operators calling you every other day trying to sell you an extended warranty for your 2011 Tahoe!!!!!!Happy Camper

To my surprise, he gave me a call in September saying that he had a way to get me approved. From experience, I wanted to do everything over… the phone because I had no interest in sitting at the dealership all day, and he got me approved! When I got there, the only thing that took a while was getting my insurance (bring your own to speed up the process), but he even helped me with that. I put $500 down, and my payments are great. Being that this is my first time having a car in my own name and no co signer, I am very pleased. I am now driving a 2014 Chevy Sonic. Thank you! :)New Stingray Z51

She greeted me at my car and took care of me. She was very friendly. I told her that I was quoted… two different prices. She gave me the lower price. I was there with my two year old niece and it was very speedy service. I am very happy.Silverado

by StevanK on 07/31/2014Overall I felt the experience was very good, not exceptional, although I felt it was more due to the fact that the dealership was very busy that morning. Jason C., my sales person, seemed to be overwhelmed with things needing to get done… and there didn't seem to be an infrastructure in place to help him do his job. My biggest complaint was in the delivery of the car. The cleanup could have been better (the floor mats were streaked with dirt from previous people getting in and out of the car, the MyLink touch screen was covered in fingerprints. These 2 could have easily been corrected in pre-delivery cleanup). Also, the car was delivered without an owner's manual, of which I'm still waiting for after calling Jason C. and telling him that it was missing. To be fair I've only ever had one exceptional experience purchasing a new Chevrolet but the one I had with Mac Haik was far better than the other ones I've had, except for that one exceptional experience.Bound and determined
by RoxanneClarke on 07/26/2014When we arrived at 5 ongoing Monday evening no one came to greet us but I wasn't leaving with out he car that I wanted. When we found the car we wanted and took a look at it we went inside. Once inside we were greeted by Marcus. He was very… nice and attentive. He went to get the keys to the car so we could take a look at the inside. He couldn't find them and not one salesperson had them. Finally after 30 minutes he foun them behind a cabinet in the maintenance department. Once he came back with them everything was great. Marcus was not pushy. He acted like he wanted our business and wanted to get us the best price...and he did...we think. We didn't care we are so happy with our car. It's been about three weeks and just found a minor defect and will take it to our local Chevy Dealer. We are in Galveston. We are so happy with our camaro. Marcus was awesome.awsome car highly recommend

There was no attemp to modify the deal once I got there (which I appreciated after having… been bait and switched at other dealerships in the past). by vetteman9 on 09/28/2010Had a dealer accessory installed. Was told to be at the dealership at 7am and it would take three hours. I went home after leaving the car. Has been seven hours and no car. I came back and was told if I would have stayed they would have… taken care of immediately since I was waiting. No luck though. Then I was told it takes longer because I asked them to be careful with it. I guess they are not normally careful so service is quicker? Be careful with service requests at MacHaik Chevrolet. Set a day aside for service if it is "supposed" to take at least three hours. It will take much longer!A Snowball's Chance...
by rhett78 on 02/12/2010You have a snowball's chance in ____ of getting treated fairly at Mac Haik Chevolet. I was shopping recently for a new Chevy and made the mistake of stopping at this dealership. I spoke with a sales rep and looked at a couple of new cars.… After I decided on the one I wanted to buy, I spent over 4 hours going back and forth between the sales guy and the sales manager. It became clear to me after enduring this nightmare that I was not going to be able to get any kind of reasonable "deal". If I wasn't willing to "bend over" and accept their terms, they weren't interested in selling a car. I drove up the freeway a few miles and closed the deal on a new Chevy and drove it home in less than 90 minutes total. That's the way it's supposed to work!
